Aw yes…Monrovia Ca – “The gem of the foothills”!
Monrovia is a cute little town about 30 miles North-East of Los Angeles – out in the “burbs”. I’m not going to write the whole history of the town – here is a link to the Wiki page. Monrovia
Back in the late 60’s and early 70’s, Monrovia was the model of suburbia. Friendly neighbors, nice green lawns being mowed every weekend, block parties – it was a wonderful time and a wonderful place!
